Founded in the joy of storytelling, aesthetic discovery, creative collaboration—and solving business problems through all of the above—c71 is rarely the same (anything) twice.

We have agency and big brand experience but we get very excited at the prospect of scrappy new ideas and experiences and the people who come to us to help get them off the ground.

Over the past couple of decades, we’ve partnered with some wildly creative brands and individuals in tech, music, fashion, athletics and entertainment, creating cross-platform multi-disciplinary creative campaigns, from a story of stills for a social post to a full campaign with a multi-city video shoot, from original music and sonic branding for a :60 spot to imagery and creative direction for a stellar print piece.

We helped to launch Forward Health and their revolutionary re-imagining of primary care, collaborated to share the story of race driver Nicolas Hamilton (brother of Lewis) for Bandai Namco’s community-sourced Project CARS racing sim game (getting a nod for best documentary from the Oscars of automotive filmmaking), and spent time with real educators, parents and students to scale pioneering edu-tech brand Edwin for Nelson Education, the largest educational publisher in Canada.

We’ve worked internally with production companies GenPop and Donut Media, and global creative studio Buck in creating delightful campaigns for MAMAA brands including Adobe, Meta, and Google.

We team up with composers, beatmakers and poets, developing creative content for such luminaries as Saul Williams, DJ Shadow, Madlib and J Dilla for projects ranging from album campaigns to music videos to Tongue, the triplet of fine art installation films we created in collaboration with electronic composer Anenon–commissioned by Apple Music.

Our work connects with audiences on screens of all sizes, in places ranging from Times Square to A+D Museum to the smartphone in your pocket right now.

But above all, we take great joy in bringing vibrant people together to tell stories in the most creative ways possible. Most of the people we work with are also our close friends. We’re here to make your vision come alive. That sounded cheesy but it’s ok, vulnerability is cool.
